SaunaLife Model S6B Wood-Fired Hot Tub

A wood-fired hot tub in the Nordic tradition, the Model S6B seats up to seven in a contoured fiberglass basin wrapped in painted black Thermo-Spruce. It needs no electricity: a stainless-steel stove brings the water to temperature in about two hours, and the evening unfolds from there.

A gathering place warmed by fire

The Model S6 draws on the Nordic custom of bathing outdoors in wood-heated water. Its broad, round basin seats up to seven, so an evening soak becomes something shared with family and friends rather than a solitary ritual.

No electrical service is needed. Once the fire is lit, the tub simply asks for time and a little attention.

An efficient, clean-burning stove

Heat comes from a corrugated stove built of 304 stainless steel with dual compartments and a secondary combustion chamber. The design extracts more warmth from each log; SaunaLife cites up to half the wood consumption of comparable stoves, and a typical warm-up from 40°F to 95°F takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours.

A polished stainless chimney with a protective cap completes the installation.

Thermo-Spruce, in black finish

The exterior is 1.65-inch thermally modified spruce, a wood heat-treated for stability and longevity outdoors, which SaunaLife rates at roughly twice the service life of cedar. A painted black finish gives the tub a quiet, architectural presence against snow, stone or evergreen.

Inside, a contoured fiberglass shell is shaped for comfortable, reclined seating.

The tub arrives fully assembled, with matching Thermo-Spruce steps, an integrated drain tap and a steel-reinforced foam cover finished in marine-grade vinyl to hold heat and keep the water clean between uses. It is backed by SaunaLife's limited lifetime warranty.
